Tamsyn Rose – ALIVE Founder & CEO
Tamsyn has been on the leading edge of Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing for over 18 years founding Get Real and the Get Real Institute. She specializes in providing training and transformational tools for young people, families, educators and community groups in resilience and suicide prevention.


Phil Schultz – Chairman
Phil is a decisive and transformational non-profit executive known for driving strategies to improve organisational capacity and integrity as well as managing and growing program portfolios to deliver valuable community services. He is an expert in leading large service portfolios in multi-state operations and excels at restructuring and repositioning programs to maximise success. With nearly 20 years in the non-profit sector, Phil has built a reputation for walking the talk and remaining a stable leader during periods of change.
Most recently Phil was recruited to serve as Queensland Police Citizens Youth Welfare Association’s (PCYC) first civilian CEO in its 70-year history. His leadership scope includes driving multi-year strategic planning and annual business planning, with a focus on continuous operations improvement, program growth and service enhancement. Under Phil’s guidance PCYC Queensland’s 56 full-time clubs, 35 Indigenous community sport and recreation locations and 100 outside school age care locations bring in $90M per annum.
Chris Dougherty
Chris is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Epilepsy Queensland overseeing the state-wide psycho-social support, education & training, policy, research and advocacy work for the 30,000 Queenslanders who live with the neurological condition. He also serves as Non-Executive Director for Epilepsy Australia and an external SME for the People & Performance Committee of the Foodbank Queensland Board. Chris is an accomplished people leader with over 15 years experience in the health and human services sector in both for profit and profit-for-purpose models. The work of the Alive Project has both personal and professional interest to Chris and he is pleased to be able to contribute skills, knowledge and experience to the organisation at this juncture of it’s scale and growth.

Andrew David Courtney (Treasurer)
Andrew is a Strategic Financial Adviser, a Financial Educator and a Mortgage Broker at Plentitude Wealth an holistic wealth management firm that is dedicated to making a positive change to the financial landscape of Australia by creating an educational foundation of social awareness, enterprise and social consciousness.


Josh Savill
Josh is a corporate lawyer with high-level experience in corporate governance, corporate advisory and mergers and acquisitions. With a young family, he is passionate about the work ALIVE does and applies his knowledge and skills in the pursuit and furtherance of ALIVE’s goals.
Carrie Buttars
Carrie is a Senior Program Delivery Officer at Queensland Correctional Services. She has a professional ambition to support at risk people through research, policy and evidence based programmatic responses. Currently working at QCS in a programmatic capacity to promote change in offenders behaviours through therapeutic group based interventions. Previously worked in designing, delivering and evaluating therapeutic & CBT programs to address the criminogenic, social, and emotional needs of Queensland’s most vulnerable young people.


Tim Keeler
Tim is Chairman of the Logan Uniting Counselling Centre and on the Leadership Team of Rotary District 9630, which consists of 52 RotaryClubs and 1,200 Rotarians covering an area from Redland Bay, Logan to Beenleigh through to Charleville in the West and South to St George. Tim is also a past President of the Rotary Club of Logan and Deputy Head of Faith Lutheran College – Junior School.
Arthur Eustace-Earle
Arthur Eustace-Earle is the Queensland Rugby League’s Manager of Government Relations.
This role aims to build and maintain relationships and partnerships with key Queensland state, local and federal government, corporate and other stakeholders to ensure increased financial assistance and other support is delivered across the game in Queensland. The role also works to ensure the game is positioned as a respected voice on critical areas of public policy of interest to Rugby League.
Arthur has more than 25 years of extensive experience in both government and the not-for-profit sector. His experience includes development, management and implementation of projects and programs across a range of areas in sport, recreation and social policy and he has had extensive stakeholder management and program development experience. He has also held various roles in a range of sporting clubs and organisations over this period.
Arthur grew up in Toowoomba and completed his schooling there before moving to Brisbane to attend the University of Queensland where he completed majors in Human Movement Studies.


Lachlan Stewart
Lachlan is an advocate for education, health and wellbeing and community engagement. He has worked within the Greater Brisbane community for 14+ years across a range of areas; Business Owner, Company Director, Teacher, Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, Coach and Volunteer. His most recent positions include-
