TAMSYN ROSE – FOUNDER AND CEO

Internationally recognised expert in mental and emotional wellbeing.  Supporting individuals, families, communities, teens and the organisations that support them.  Empowering healthier happier Australians for over 14 years through Get Real and the The Get Real Institute.  Author of Life Hack book for teens #LLF The Movement – 12 Life Hacks for Teenagers to Live Life Fully.

JACOB PEARCE – NATIONAL FUNRAISING MANAGER

Jacob is an electrician by day and a mental health warrior by night. After going through mental health battles and surviving a traumatic incident as a young person, Jacob is now using his past experiences to de-stigmatise Mental Health and help others in need.
 
In March 2019, Jacob started a campaign called Pearcey’s Pledge where he walked 400kms in 10 days and raised $90,000 for ALIVE. Jacob has since taken on the role as National Fundraising Manager and is working with others on their fundraising efforts.

RACQUEL TODOR – COACH AND FACILITATOR

Racquel is our fun energiser bunny, passionate about equity and self-improvement for both adults and children. Racquel has a Bachelors of Psychology, is currently completing her Honours Thesis and brings 5 yrs experience in Martial Arts.
 
Racquel also has experience in behavioural work for individuals with Autism, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy for individuals with personality disorders, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Racquel is also educated and passionate in providing culturally appropriate aid to Australia’s First Peoples.

ZOE HANKIN – COACH

Zoe is a bubbly all-rounder who has been working in mental health and disability peer support with ALIVE for over two years. Zoe brings creative skills as a visual artist to coaching and they specialise in art based therapy and expression.
 
Zoe also has experience from Headspace as a Peer Support Worker, and other organisations as a Community Arts Worker and Youth Worker.

TAYLA FORD – COACH

Meet Tayla  our awesome Coach from South Australia who has a huge passion for female wrestling. She has competed at an Olympic level.  Tayla has trained and competed in wrestling for 21 years and shared her knowledge and experience through coaching the sport for the last 8 years.

ADAM JONES – COACH

Meet Adam Jones, also from South Australia.  Adam is a brown belt in Jiu Jitsu having trained for over 10 years. He has competed at state, national and international level in his sport.
